Is My Money Safe as a Lender on Brolly?
At Brolly, we prioritize the security and peace of mind of our lenders. This document outlines the measures we have in place to ensure that your investments are safe and that you receive your returns, even in the event of borrower defaults.
Is My Money Safe as a Lender on Brolly?
Absolutely. If a borrower fails to repay their loan. You will get your capital back and earn returns on any funds assigned to a borrower.
How Lenders Are Protected
Unlike traditional peer-to-peer platforms, Brolly employs a guaranteed return model backed by the Brolly Assurance Fund. This ensures that lenders are always compensated — first and in full.
Here’s how it works:
Capital Guarantee
Your initial investment is fully protected. Even if a borrower does not repay, you will still receive 100% of your capital.
Returns Paid Every 30 Days
When your funds are lent out (i.e., matched to a borrower), they are locked into a 30-day contract. At the end of the contract, you will receive your capital plus the agreed return, regardless of whether the borrower paid early, late, or not at all — thanks to the Brolly Assurance Fund.
Automatic Rollover
Once a 30-day contract ends, your capital may be automatically assigned to a new borrower, allowing you to continue earning without any additional effort.
Fully Liquid Outside Contracts
If your funds have not yet been matched to a borrower, you can withdraw at any time with no fees or penalties. If your funds are currently in a contract, you can still withdraw; however, you will not receive the return for that contract, as it would be considered broken early.
What If a Borrower Misses a Repayment?
No problem. If a borrower fails to repay, we have systems in place to recover the money, including automated follow-ups and manual collection workflows. Your payment is not affected — we will still pay you out on time using the Brolly Assurance Fund. Additionally, the borrower will be flagged and subject to future restrictions.
